Dr. Yang graduated from Sun Yat-sen University with MBBS degree in 2005, and went on to pursue postgraduate and doctoral training under supervision of Prof. Xiaoyan LIANG. She was elected for the joint doctoral programme between Centre of Reproductive Medicine at 1st Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and University of Adelaide in Australia. She graduated with M.D. and Ph.D. degree in 2010. Her research interest is impact of obesity on female reproduction, and has published relevant research articles in internationally renowned journals. Dr. Yang has been involved in clinical management of infertilities for 7 years. She is familiar with the basic principles and clinical procedures in gynaecology, and has been extensively trained on clinical as well as laboratory procedures associated with assisted reproductive technology (ART). She is familiar with controlled ovarian stimulation protocols and is skilled in ovum pick-up (OPU) procedures. During her OPU operations, ovum recovery rate exceeds 80%, with satisfactory safety profile and patient-reported pleasant experience.
